Beautiful place

We self catered in the lodge kitchen for breakfast and evening meal, finding everything available we needed .weather and time did not allow us time to truly relax within the lodge peaceful location, having said that, we did hear a horse and a tawny owl during our stay.The shower over bath took some care to use but that was ok, I would have liked a larger bath towel but I guess it's what your use to. Overall the Lodge provided a pleasant and comfortable stay.

It was exactly what we needed. Close enough to get to Hastings for odds and ends (and Fish and Chips!) so not remote. Just what we needed 🙂

The house is a new build with a large modern open plan kitchen / dining/ lounge which supports a wood burner to warm you up on those chilly nights. The two bedrooms have an en-suite each ( one with an amazing walk in rain shower, the other with a bath - ticks all boxes). About 15 mins drive into Hastings - so close enough but still away from it all to get the country quiet feel. Would definitely recommend!!!
